Md Syful Islam

Md Syful Islam is a Researcher at Research & Integrated Thought (RIT) and a PhD researcher in Maritime, Transport Law and Politics at the Social Sciences Institute of Ankara University, Türkiye. His interdisciplinary research focuses on maritime law and governance, maritime security, marine environmental protection, blue economy, human rights, migration, regional cooperation, and contemporary socio-political issues in Bangladesh. He has published research in international peer-reviewed journals on maritime diplomacy, state accountability at sea, emerging technologies in maritime governance, the Rohingya refugee crisis, and Bangladesh’s July Revolution. At RIT, he contributes to research, academic publication, policy analysis, and national and international collaborative initiatives.
