On 8 August 2026, a research seminar titled “𝑫𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒛𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒅 & 𝑴𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒅” was held at the Department of Physics, University of Dhaka, jointly organized by the Dhaka University Research Society (DURS) and Research & Integrated Thoughts (RIT).

Dr. Muhammad Asadullah, an associate professor at the University of Regina, Canada, delivered the keynote address. The session was chaired by Dr. Mohammad Ismail (PhD, Cambridge), Chairman of RIT, while Dr. Akram Uddin, Executive Director of RIT, attended as the Special Guest.

The seminar explored critical questions around decolonizing knowledge, research methods, and academic thinking, with particular emphasis on rethinking dominant approaches to knowledge production and making research more responsive to local contexts.

Research & Integrated Thoughts (RIT) extends its sincere gratitude to Dhaka University Research Society (DURS) for their valued collaboration and support in making this seminar possible.

We are equally grateful to our distinguished speakers, guests, and all the participants whose enthusiastic presence, questions, and engagement made the session truly meaningful.

We look forward to creating more spaces for critical thinking, meaningful dialogue, and collaborative research.
